School Vision & Values

Kilsby School Vision Final (3).pdf

It is our aim to develop a sense of community and social awareness in all our children so they are able to cope with a variety of social situations with confidence. We wish them to have respect for each other, for adults, and the wider world and to develop a pride in themselves, their school and their community. We aim to develop their moral, spiritual and cultural awareness within a well disciplined, happy, safe and caring environment, where everyone contributes to the well-being of all.

We aim to prepare children to reach their full potential in all they do in an environment that puts a high value on clear communication, creativity, and learning. We aim to do this through a practical, interesting and relevant curriculum and through a stimulating school environment, where children are engaged in first-hand experiences and informed decision making which will help them in later life.

We aim to foster the positive involvement of parents and children and to facilitate the planned professional growth of staff and governors.

It is our aim to have an international dimension to the curriculum, to encourage links with other schools in England and throughout the world so that our children appreciate and value people of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

We value the Christian foundation of the school, but also aim to make children fully aware of the multicultural and multifaith world in which they live.

We aim to ensure that all members of the school will have equal opportunity regardless of sex, ethnic origin, marital status, disability or age, that all are valued and included fully.
