Rowan Class enjoyed a fantastic trip to Stratford-on-Avon on Wednesday 20th June.
First of all they visited Shakespeare's Birthplace where they took part in a workshop and even did their own performance at the outdoor theatre! They learnt about Shakespeare's plays and the development of language, and had the opportunity to look around the birthplace itself.
After this they went on to have a boat ride down the River Avon, which was great fun, they even went through a lock at one stage. Finally, they visited the RSC and had a tour up the Tower there, the views of Stratford and the surrounding countryside were breathtaking!
