Harvest October 2018

On Friday 5th October the whole school attended the Harvest service at St Faith's Church, Kilsby with the Rev. Nigel Fry. The children participated in this lovely service, Maple class concentrated on 'Poverty in the UK', Rowan class spoke of 'Harvest all around the world', the children in Cherry class read 'Harvest poems' and the Reception children in Chestnut class expressed their own 'Thank you's for our food'. The House Captains also read some prayers during the service.

The children brought in beautifully decorated boxes filled with harvest gifts. These were distributed around Kilsby village to the elderly residents, which is something we do every year.

After the service, we held a MacMillan coffee morning back in school.
